“Under all is the Land.” ™ These are the first words of the Preamble to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Professional standards and the core of my belief in property ownership.
As a third generation ranching family in Cascade, Montana I grew up with a vast appreciation for land, for Montana and hardwork. These values have fueled my continued passion for Real Estate, Montana and for helping people obtain the American Dream.
I obtained my Certified International Property Specialist designation in Dublin, Ireland in 2017 and after extensive training, above all what I came away with is that we live in the greatest nation on earth and the foundation for our strength and wealth is individual property ownership.
So what happened between ranch life and my current career as a Real Estate Broker? I obtained my degree from MSU Billings in mass communications and promptly headed to California! Of course, I wanted to see the world! I worked in various industries from insurance claims to publishing and technology in San Francisco. I worked with videogame companies, printing manuals and replicating discs while witnessing the rapid evolution of the industry. The ’90s were an exciting time to be in the Bay Area! The region buzzed with innovation, and I loved being part of it.
I started my family in California. First a daughter, Austin, then a son, Jacob, and then another son, Tommy! After the birth of my third child, Tommy, I earned my paralegal certification- one thing to know about me is that I love to learn. I’m naturally research-oriented, and the legal field seemed like an exciting opportunity. I worked for the president of the Bar Association in Marin County, conducting research and providing court support for major real estate cases.
It was fascinating, but also disillusioning. I quickly learned that the law wasn’t always about fairness—it was about strategy, endurance, and sometimes wearing people down. Because I value fairness and integrity, it wasn’t the right fit for me and I thought I could put my skills to work in a more rewarding way.
I have moved around quite a bit and at one point we moved to Minneapolis and I had my youngest daughter there. Around that time, my youngest son Tommy was diagnosed with severe epilepsy and cognitive delays. I became a stay-at-home mom and worked from home in marketing so I could care for him.
I moved back to Montana to be closer to family. That’s when I finally dove into real estate, determined to build a career that would allow me to care for Tommy while pursuing my passion for learning and helping others. The learning curve was steep, but I embraced it, and it has become a deeply fulfilling career.
Outside of work, my heart belongs to Special Olympics and the Humane Society were I sponsor animal adoptions each month. Helena, Montana is truly the most generous community I have ever lived in and there are numerous opportunities to contribute.
Looking back, I’ve faced heartbreak, change, and uncertainty, but I’ve also found deep joy and purpose. Through it all, I’ve learned that life isn’t about sticking to the plan—it’s about embracing the unexpected, loving fiercely, and finding meaning in every chapter.
After 13 years in this business, I’ve realized that real estate isn’t really about houses or money—it’s about helping people through life’s transitions. Whether someone is having a baby, sending kids off to college, downsizing, or dealing with a loss these are all transitions that can involve Real Estate. I’ve lived through so many of those moments myself.
Because of that, I can truly connect with my clients and understand what they’re going through. My main goal is to make things as easy and stress-free as possible, to reduce anxiety and help people move forward with their dreams.
I also enjoy learning and invest a lot of time in my education. I’ve sold everything from commercial properties to ranches, luxury homes, and land development. I always go above and beyond with continuing education to bring the best and most current information to my clients and to my practice.
I have worked with global real estate luxury franchises and small independent brokerages and I bring to my work relationships and experience from those global networks and apply them with a consultative, discreet flexibility that small brokerages offer.
Augustine Properties is a well respected brokerage in Helena, MT with vast sales experience and knowledge in commercial, residential, land, ranch and development real estate.
Under all is the Land ™ and above all is the sky. The sky is the limit for your real estate strategy. I would be honored to work with you to achieve those goals.
Sincerely,

Angie Enger
